Actual Proof is a Bay Area funk, jazz, and R&B band formed after a run of packed busking sets in downtown San Jose. The band features Ryan Grubee (trumpet), Kunaal Pendse (baritone sax), Elena Hsu (vocals), Jacob Park (guitar), Kai Imaya (piano), Jackson Takizawa (bass), and Roma Smith (drums). Drawing inspiration from artists like Marcus Miller, Bruno Mars, John Mayer, Herbie Hancock, Domi & JD Beck, and Michael Brecker, their sound is tight, soulful, and always high energy. Get ready for deep grooves, explosive solos, and a high energy show.
