Bay Area Special is a bluegrass band based in the San Jose area. The group consists of Ruby Davis (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Elijah Chen (Lead Guitar), Phil Cornish (Mandolin, Harmony Vocals), Ryan Triolo (Upright Bass), and Danny Clark (Fiddle, Harmony Vocals). Formed in 2024, the band has developed a signature sound characterized by dynamic vocals, virtuosic instrumentals, and an infectious energy. Known for their tight vocal harmonies and driving sound, Bay Area Special has performed extensively throughout the Bay Area, delivering electrifying live shows that highlight their musical chemistry.
