Emojis on Ecstasy was formed in 2024 by pianist-singer Stephanie Orosz, and the group evolved from a San Francisco showcase into a nine-member vocal-band with a unique approach to rock and pop hits [0]. Their sound features rich harmonies and singer interplay, covering songs like the Doobie Brothers’ “Blackwater” and Tom Petty’s “Runnin’ Down a Dream” [0]. The band’s name was inspired by an exuberant exclamation from their drummer upon seeing colorful emojis in a message thread
